HGV Technician – Up to £50,000 + Extensive Training

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our growing team in Leek. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 qualified technician who wants long‑term stability, modern facilities, and access to industry‑leading training programmes.
You will work across a mixed fleet of HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and safety inspections to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- HGV servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnostics on electrical and mechanical systems
- Trailer repairs including brakes, hubs, air systems and lighting
- Brake relines, chambers, valves and air system fault‑finding
- Safety inspections including MOT prep and defect rectification
- Working within a modern workshop with OEM tooling and equipment
- Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in HGV or Motor Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic background
- Experience with HGVs, trailers or commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
