We are looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated team in Courteenhall, Northampton, supporting children and young people in a safe, nurturing and supportive residential environment.

What you'll be doing
- Providing consistent, person-centred care and support.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people.
- Supporting daily routines, activities and independence.
- Encouraging emotional wellbeing, confidence and life skills.
- Supporting young people to engage in education and recreational activities.
- Responding calmly and appropriately to challenging situations.
- Maintaining a safe, positive and nurturing environment.
- Working as part of a committed and supportive team.
- Following safeguarding, care plans and company policies.
Pay & Benefits
- £12.73 per hour
- £26,437 annual base salary, excluding sleep-ins
- £62.64 per sleep-in shift
- Total package up to £33,795–£35,795 per year, depending on allowances and sleep-ins
What we're looking for
You’ll need to be:
- Caring, patient and resilient.
- Reliable and committed to providing excellent care.
- Confident working with children and young people.
- Able to build positive professional relationships.
- Understanding of safeguarding and the importance of professional boundaries.
- A driver with a full manual UK driving licence – essential.
Previous experience in children's residential care or supporting vulnerable children and young people is highly essential
