The role will be field-based and involve surveying water mains to detect leakage and network validation. The work may include but is not limited to:
- Carrying out leakage detection surveys and investigations
- Using specialist equipment to pinpoint leak locations underground, such as correlators
- Setting up and deploying acoustic and hydrophone loggers on fittings in the water network
- Checking the status of valves on the water network
- Network monitoring and verification using flow and pressure logging equipment
- Flow logging domestic and industrial customers
- Conducting flow and pressure tests on the network
- Conducting unaccounted for water investigations

Pay: £24,000.00 per year
