Duties
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored after use
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and stock to ensure smooth operations during service
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed diligently
- Help with setting up dining areas or service stations as needed for meal service
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a hygienic environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
