Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and manage end-to-end audio, video and multimedia productions.
- Work with clients and creative teams to understand project objectives, content requirements, schedules and production budgets.
- Develop production plans, recording schedules and workflows for podcasts, audiobooks, interviews, corporate content and broadcast projects.
- Oversee studio recording sessions and coordinate producers, engineers, editors, presenters and other production personnel.
- Manage the technical and logistical aspects of recording, editing and post-production.
- Review and oversee audio and visual editing, mixing, mastering and final production to ensure consistent quality.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets and client requirements are met.
- Liaise with clients, contributors, presenters and production professionals throughout the production process.
- Identify and resolve production, technical or scheduling issues and make appropriate decisions to maintain project continuity.
- Ensure all content is prepared to the required technical specifications for digital, broadcast and online distribution.
- Contribute creative ideas and production solutions to improve the quality, presentation and impact of client content.
- Maintain production records, schedules and project documentation and ensure efficient use of studio resources.
- Support the development of production standards, processes and workflows within the studio.
- Keep up to date with developments in multimedia production, recording technology and digital content formats.
Skills and education:
- Strong experience in multimedia, broadcast, podcast, audio or video production.
- Excellent production planning, coordination and project management skills.
- Good understanding of recording, editing, mixing, mastering and post-production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple productions and work effectively to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and client-management skills.
- Creative approach with strong attention to quality and detail.
- Ability to coordinate technical and creative teams and external production professionals.
- Good understanding of digital content, broadcast and online publishing requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot production and logistical issues and make effective decisions under pressure.
Pay: £33,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
