SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEND School
Location: Hounslow
Pay: £105–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm
Start Date: First Week of September
Complete Classroom Services are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist SEND school in Hounslow.
This welcoming school supports autistic pupils from Reception through to Year 11, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. The school benefits from purpose-built, modern facilities with innovative learning spaces designed to support pupils' individual learning styles and sensory needs.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication needs
- Providing 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and personalised learning activities
- Encouraging pupils' communication, independence and social development
- Supporting pupils with personal care where required
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure every pupil receives the support they need
- Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs
- Has experience working with pupils with ASD and communication needs
- Is comfortable providing personal care
- Is patient, caring, proactive and resilient
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Holds a DBS on the Update Service
