United Support Group CIC is looking for a SEND Practitioner to join our friendly, values-led team supporting children, young people, adults and families with autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where relationships matter. You’ll work directly with families, offering practical support, guidance and confidence-building.
We welcome applications from people with professional and/or lived experience of neurodiversity.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting children, young people and adults with SEND in the community
- Working alongside parents/carers to build understanding and confidence
- Delivering 1:1 and small group support sessions
- Helping families navigate SEND-related systems and services
- Signposting to education, health and community support
- Attending meetings with schools and professionals when needed
- Keeping clear, proportionate records of your work
Some evening work may be required (agreed in advance).
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £10,491.00 per year
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
