Job Overview
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in early years education and experience working within a nursery setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care and education, supporting each child’s development through engaging activities and nurturing, positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children feel confident to explore and learn.
- Observe, monitor, and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date developmental records.
- Build strong, effective relationships with parents and carers, sharing progress and addressing any concerns.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Adhere to all safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, and childcare best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare is essential.
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing young children’s development.
