We are currently supporting a well established company to recruit a dedicated and talented Registered Manager to oversee the operations of their Ofsted Registered Childrens Home in Nottingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to for an experienced manager with a passion for helping children to become their best selves; promoting their wellbeing and advocating for them, whilst ensuring that they, as well as your team, feel safe and supported.
The home will be registered for two children and will specialise in providing residential care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
As registered manager:
· You will be leading a team and inspiring them to achieve the highest possible outcomes, whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations.
· You will be responsible for the overall running of the home, from a day-to-day perspective as well as future planning through managing the homes budgets.
· You will be accountable for ensuring that all the children within the home receive a supporting, nurturing and stable environment.
· You will act a positive role model to the children and staff team alike, building and maintain trusting relationships.
· You will be working alongside a range of professionals in order to provide the support needed each individual child.
Requirements:
· To have or be working towards a Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or the equivalent)
· Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or equivalent))
· A minimum of 2 years managing/leading a team in a residential setting.
· Experience of performing a range of roles within a children’s residential setting
· Strong knowledge of legislation around the care of children, including safeguarding and child protection.
· Full UK driving Licence.
· Right to work in the UK
· Ability to work flexibly and conduct on call duties as required.
