Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman/woman to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our sites by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, and functional environment.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and prevent potential issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, decoration, doors, windows, and fixtures to ensure optimal operation.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally from staff or visitors.
- Occasionally helping our Grounds Maintenance team, with grass cutting, strimming and weeding.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles within commercial or domestic environments.
- Electrical experience (Wanted but not necessary)
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical and plumbing work.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in overseeing maintenance tasks or teams is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English to clearly document work orders, safety reports, and interact with team members annd clients effectively.
