We are looking for an ICQA Operations Manager, based in the UK, who will take responsibility for quality for the United Kingdom (UK). Our manufacturing sites are primarily located within the distribution centers and are growing rapidly. In each site, our teams produce, control and ship the products ordered by our customers to the distribution centers.
These production sites are evolving rapidly and have a high level of quality requirements. We need the right type of leader to ensure we deliver to our customers reliably, while ensuring our teams deliver on customer obsession.
Key job responsibilities
- Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates
- Follow-up to ensure compliance and consistency for policies & procedures for Quality & Quality Management systems.
- Coordinate Quality across his sites in accordance with EU Quality network strategies
- Measure Quality, integrity and accuracy to suggest improvements while providing proactive feedback to the Operations management team
- Participate and lead network-wide & operations focused quality initiatives
- Strategic planning & forecasting about Quality, alongside assigning and directing work
- Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers in ICQA functions within multiple MOD cells and drive performance
- Drive Quality process improvements and team member’s ability to keep pace with our rapid growth, while motivating others and reducing employee turnover
- Review & analyze customer complaints and any defect data, followed by development of corresponding action plans to reduce future incidents

Your roles & responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all department managers to identify and understand key projects, initiatives and system enhancements.
- Ensure KPI’s are reviewed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and perform quality analysis and/or behaviors/processes that could impact on Quality
- Gain expertise in all MOD process paths
- Liaise with Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and general managers to aid the communication of all policies related to process discipline
- Support in interviewing and hiring new managers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in people management and team development
- Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders
- Experience in written and spoken English and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses
- Experience hiring and developing strong talent and building a team
- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Experience in project/program management, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, or Lean Six Sigma
