JOB TITLE: Security Officer
LONCATION: Larbert
PAY RATE: £13.45 per hour
TYPE: Part Time
HOURS: 21hrs per week (Mon - Thu from 1600-1930hrs and Fri 1200 -1930hrs as well as holiday cover)
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a customer focused security officer to join our team. You will provide a high level of customer service, respond to first aid, fire and emergency incidents and support with security issues.
Responsibilities
- Controlling access and egress to the site
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Liaising with building tenants, contractors and visitors
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Responding to all incidents; assisting in emergencies and evacuations
- Maintaining security equipment
- Conducting patrols
- Managing keys
- Writing reports and maintaining good records.
Experience
- You must be capable of dealing with a variety of situations in a calm and professional manner.
- You will have strong customer service focused attention to detail and the initiative to both identify and implement best practice.
- You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English.
- You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
- You are well-presented at all times.
Licence Requirements:
- You must have a current SIA Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
Job requirements:
You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment history and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
START DATE: Immediate upon successful completion of screening
INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:
Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
