We have an exciting opportunity to join our Elgin Despatch Team on a full time basis.
Your main focus will be responsible for the office duties covering couriers, enquiries, checking order progress with production, and arranging collections/hauliers. This is a permanent role, working 38 hours a week. Working hours:
08:00-16:30 (M-Th)/08:00-14:30 (F)
Responsibilities include;
- General administration duties within the department
- Checking orders are progressing from initial production until despatch to meet despatch due fates on time, including liaising with internal departments
- Arranging and producing despatch paperwork
- Arranging for orders to be collated once complete with the warehouse staff and liaising with internal departments to allow the orders to despatch
- Checking emails, responding as needed or highlighting to senior members of the department ones they need to deal with.
- Dealing with external suppliers as needed
The type of person we are looking for:
- Good IT skills preferable with Microsoft 360 package
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Punctual with a good work ethic
