We are a dedicated learning disability home providing compassionate, person-centred support to adults living with learning disabilities and progressive dementia. Our focus is on dignity, independence, and creating a safe, supportive environment where every individual can thrive.
We are currently looking for a Wake Night Support Worker to join our team.
Position Details:
- Shift: Wake Night Hours:
Week 1 = Monday and Friday 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM total 22 hours
Week 2 Monday, Friday and Saturday 8:30 PM - 7:30 am total 33 hours
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing overnight support and reassurance to residents
- Promoting comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Monitoring residents and responding to any needs or emergencies
- Maintaining accurate records and handovers
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and reliable individual
- Experience in care is preferred but not essential (full training can be provided)
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about learning disabilities and dementia
- Strong communication and observation skills
