Job Summary
Charnock Hall Primary Academy is looking to appoint a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant for 20hours per week, term time only to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in their learning under the guidance of the class teacher
- Work with individuals or small groups to deliver planned activities
- Assist in creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of pupils, including those with SEND
- Help manage pupil behaviour and promote positive attitudes
- Supervise pupils during school trips and out-of-classroom activities
- Provide personal care support where necessary
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with primary-age children in a school setting
- Understanding of the National Curriculum and child development
- A patient, flexible, and supportive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
