About the role:
The Resort has a number of bedrooms including suites, deluxe and superior rooms. We also have self. As Linen Porter, you will join a dedicated hard-working team and ensure all hotel accommodation is clean and tidy ready for our guests. This is a physical role, required to use and move linen trollies through corridors and lift areas. The successful applicant will have a hard-working attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. If you think you have what we are looking for please get in touch!
Job Description:
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- To clean and service the Resort as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor or Managers.
- Deliver clean linen to the bedrooms.
- Remove all used linen from bedrooms and bring it to the laundry department.
- To stock linen cupboards.
- To report any maintenance issues directly to the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager.
- Receive housekeeping deliveries and put them away into the appropriate stores.
- To be fully conversant and comply with the health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures of the hotel and to ensure others are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- To carry out any other duties as requested by Department heads or Management.
