The Role
We are seeking a practical, reliable individual to help maintain our historic buildings, visitor spaces, and surrounding estate. You will play a key role in ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and well-presented, working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
We need someone with experience in general maintenance and caretaking, with a ‘can do’ approach and a good understanding of health and safety. You’ll be flexible, able to work independently and as part of a team and interested in working within a heritage tourism site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out caretaker duties and general maintenance to the buildings and grounds
- Support health & safety compliance, security duties, and emergency/ out-of-hours callouts
- Assist with event setup, waste management, deliveries, and general site operations
- Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and contractors
Salary range: £24,785 per annum + benefits
Full time – 37.5 hours per week (rota over 7 days)
