We are a well-respected, privately owned catering company based on the outskirts of Chelmsford. Due to recent growth we are now looking for dependable and hard-working full time Kitchen Porters to join our small, friendly team.
** Please note that the hours are 7am - 3pm, 5 days per week with some weekend work
This is a vital role in our kitchen – perfect for someone with energy, pride in their work, and a great team attitude.

Job description
Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Maintain food storage areas like freezers and fridges
Receive deliveries and organize them/keep the deliveries area tidy
Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
Help with basic food prep if needed
Ensure hygiene standards are followed and maintained
May be occasionally asked to use the company van
What we are looking for:
A strong work ethic and ‘can-do' attitude
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
A minimum of 1 year's experience as a KP
A food hygiene qualification would be an advantage but full training will be given
Must be a driver with a full, valid UK licence
