Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant or Chef to join our team at Eleanor Nursing and Social Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious meals prepared with care. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking for residents according to dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Support the head cook in menu planning and food presentation.
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create a positive dining experience for residents.
Requirements:
- Experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
