Front of House & Barista – Deli Station, Cockermouth
Days: Monday to Thursday
Hours Approximately: 8:00am–3:30pm & holiday cover
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic and hardworking person to join our small team at Deli Station.
We’re a busy, independent café that prides itself on serving great coffee, homemade food and providing exceptional customer service. We’re passionate about supporting local suppliers and creating a welcoming atmosphere where our customers feel at home.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role, so we’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, has plenty of energy and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Making quality coffees and other hot drinks
- Serving customers with a friendly, positive attitude
- Taking orders and operating the till
- Preparing sandwiches, wraps and counter food quickly while maintaining high standards
- Keeping the counter well stocked and presented
- Washing dishes and helping keep the kitchen and front of house clean and organised
- Supporting the team wherever needed throughout the day
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys chatting with customers, has excellent attention to detail and genuinely cares about delivering a great customer experience. Café, barista or hospitality experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
