The Role:
Due to progressive growth, an opportunity has become available for a 3D CAD Technician to join our team. In this strategically important and challenging role you will be required to:
Design components and create assemblies for new and existing product ranges.
Produce manufacturing drawings and technical documents.
Manage own project work to agreed deadlines.
Liaise with customers, site engineers and internal departments.
Potential off-site visits may also be involved.
Single shift pattern, Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1630 and Friday 0800 -1530
The Person:
The successful candidate will already understand the processes involved in high-quality, high-volume manufacturing. Applicants should therefore possess the following attributes:
Team player with good communication skills and a "Can Do" attitude.
Reliability, trustworthiness and a strong work ethic.
Ability to be creative, logical, and practical with a keen interest in mechanical engineering and current technologies.
Must be smart and well presented.
You will be naturally hard-working results focused, and enthusiastic.
Proficient with AutoCAD / Inventor / Vault software platforms and have good general telephone and computer skills.
Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks and be responsive to changing demands and situations.
