Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or beverages to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper handling, serving, and sanitation procedures
- Manage guest requests efficiently, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work can be advantageous for understanding meal components and timing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
