Healthcare Academy Associate Overview
The Healthcare Academy Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of healthcare training programme, educational initiatives, and community engagement activities. This position involves assisting with the coordination of training sessions, supporting learners throughout their development journey, and contributing to the smooth running of the academy's operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine interest in healthcare, education, and professional development. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and preparation of training materials and educational content tailored to aspiring and existing healthcare professionals.
- Support the delivery of training sessions, workshops, recruitment events and seminars for learners at varying stages of their careers.
- Prepare equipment, resources and learning environments to ensure the effective delivery of programmes and events.
- Maintain organised records of participant attendance, progress and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with learners, trainers, employers and external partners to coordinate schedules and programme logistics.
- Support the use of digital learning tools, presentation software and online resources to enhance the learner experience.
- Provide administrative support related to course registrations, enquiries, feedback collection and reporting activities.
- Assist with community outreach initiatives, careers events and promotional activities.
- Support the smooth operation of academy and clinic activities where required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and organisational policies within all learning environments.
Requirements
- Applicants must be aged 18 years or over.
- No university degree is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A genuine interest in healthcare, education, wellbeing or community development.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, presentation software and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with learners, colleagues and partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and professionalism.
- A proactive attitude towards professional development and continuous learning.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, administration or community engagement is desirable but not essential.
