Duties
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and organisational standards
- Providing expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
- Offering personalised patient care, including medication reviews and health consultations
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapy plans
- Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Educating patients on lifestyle modifications and health management strategies
- Maintaining comprehensive records of prescriptions and patient interactions in compliance with data protection regulations
- Supporting public health initiatives such as vaccination programmes and health screenings
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting is desirable
- ICU experience is advantageous but not essential; relevant clinical experience is valued
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medication administration protocols
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Organised with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and record keeping
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current pharmaceutical practices

Pay: £37,086.26-£65,383.75 per year
