Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled 360 excavator operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to perform various earthmoving tasks essential for project success. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site development, precise material handling, and safe operation throughout the construction process. Responsibilities
- Operate a 360-degree excavator safely and efficiently across diverse construction sites, including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with site preparation activities such as trenching, grading, and excavation work according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to execute tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, including equipment usage and maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to promote a secure work environment.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating a 360-degree excavator in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driving license with relevant endorsements for operating heavy equipment on public roads if required.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, site plans, and safety instructions clearly.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding outdoor conditions and long shifts.
- Prior experience with other heavy machinery or excavators is preferred but not mandatory.
