We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
- Load and unload items using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure transportation.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
- Follow all health and safety regulations during driving, loading, and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience.
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating transit size commercial vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
