QAA is the UK's independent quality body for tertiary education. Our purpose is to ensure that students and learners experience the highest possible quality of education.
We are the UK's authority on quality and standards, acting as custodian on behalf of the sector of reference points including the UK Quality Code for Higher Education, Subject Benchmark Statements, and the Frameworks for Higher Education Qualifications.

This role sits at the heart of QAA's contract services work, contributing to the development and delivery of our portfolio of quality assurance and enhancement services. As part of the Contract Services Team, you'll deliver QAA's international accreditation reviews in England and overseas. You'll also deliver bespoke services to higher education providers, agencies and other bodies supporting their strategic and operational priorities, ranging from workshops for individual providers to being part of larger capacity building projects internationally.
You'll work closely with colleagues across QAA and with external stakeholders to promote our work, build trusted partnerships, and support our strategic goals. The role involves delivering specific quality assurance reviews, projects and engagements to an exacting and high standard. You'll also be required to support the development of new services to be delivered in England and internationally, and to represent QAA, helping to grow our reputation and influence as a trusted quality assurance agency.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of higher education quality assurance in England and in international settings. You'll be a confident communicator and able to offer support, guidance and advice relating to the quality and standards of higher education to others. You'll be skilled in managing projects and building relationships across cultures and organisations. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with experience of delivering work to deadlines and managing multiple priorities. Detailed knowledge of the OfS regulatory framework requirements and varied experience of transnational education will be an advantage. The role requires travel in the UK and internationally, so flexibility, initiative and professionalism are key.
