Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off nights
Shift times: 2000 - 0800
Rate/Salary: £13.45 - £14.35 per hour, guaranteed 42 hours per week average.
Job Description:
We have a new opportunity to join our team as a full time security supervisor for a large well known education client based in Horsforth, Leeds. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a small team of security officers.
The site includes student accommodation, learning facilities, sports facilities and much more.
Please note this is a large site requiring foot patrols throughout the shift so candidates must be prepared for a lot of walking.
Your daily work will help protect our client’s site, property and people including students, staff, and members of the public, resulting in a very satisfying role with significant potential.
You will be the ambassadors for our client; one of the first people that visitors, students, and staff see on arrival, setting the tone and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Some of the duties will include:
· Planning and delivery of training for new officers
· Completing handovers with University staff and management team
· Organising and motivating the team to ensure duties and tasks are being completed in line with the assignment instructions.
· Patrolling campus on foot providing a security presence.
· Responding to incidents, noise complaints in a proactive manor.
· Locking and unlocking of buildings
· Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported
· Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security Supervisor requirements:
· Valid Frontline SIA Licence
· Experienced in supervising or leading teams
· Physically fit enough to walk long distances through the shift
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
· 5 year+ checkable work history in line with BS 7858
· Smart and presentable portraying a professional image
· Ability to write clear and concise reports
· Excellent time management skills
· A dynamic decision maker
