Job Overview
Gwili Jones are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our parts / aftersales team. The successful applicant will be expected to provide exceptional service, maintain accurate records, and support the maintenance of our parts department within a small and friendly team. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Deal with customer's parts enquiries over the counter, on the phone and online
- Assist with stock control measures, ordering, receiving and allocation of parts to customers/jobs
- Regular stock checks
- Assist with managing and organising parts stock levels with up-to-date parts for necessary machines
- Assist in keeping showroom stocked, organised, tidy, and up to date
- Assist with workshop administration needs
- Assist with warranty registration and parts warranty claim
Requirements
- Good knowledge of agricultural machinery
- A "can do" attitude with ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic IT systems relevant to stock management
- Experience with phone etiquette and delivering professional customer service
- Self motivated and approachable
- Welsh speaking an advantage but not essential
The wage rate is dependent on experience within a similar role and level of knowledge of the IBCOS dealer management system. Experience with IBCOS is advantageous, and candidates with a strong understanding of the system will be considered for a higher salary starting point.
Hours will be from 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday year round, Saturdays between 8am and 12:30pm on a rota basis. Extended hours required occasionally during busy periods.
Pay: £12.71-£13.25 per hour
