Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook burger meals according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
- Manage the entire meal preparation process, from assembling ingredients to cooking patties, to delivering hot, fresh orders efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure customer safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods, supporting each other to meet customer demands
- Assist in serving takeaway orders accurately and promptly, providing excellent customer service when needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety standards and food hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent meal preparation skills with a focus on burger assembly and presentation
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including order processing and serving techniques
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and respond to customer needs
- Enthusiasm for culinary arts with a desire to learn new techniques and improve skills over time
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
