Role Description
This is a full-time, remote, self-employed Field-Based Sales Representative role with a realistic OTE of £50,000 per year and no cold calling.
You will attend pre-booked in-home appointments to:
- Present and explain our pay weekly finance plans
- Measure customers’ rooms accurately
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable flooring solutions
- Demonstrate our wide range of carpet and flooring products
- Provide tailored advice based on lifestyle, budget, and property type
- Prepare quotations and close sales during the appointment
Full product and sales training will be provided, along with a guaranteed minimum weekly payment during your training period.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and submitting accurate reports on sales activities.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own reliable vehicle and mobile phone.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven experience in sales and customer service
- Ability to measure rooms accurately and confidently discuss flooring specifications
- Confidence in advising customers on suitable flooring options based on usage, durability, and budget
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with the flooring or home improvement industry (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
- Comfortable working remotely and using digital communication tools
