The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our expanding accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or develop a career in finance. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’ll provide full training, ongoing support, and clear pathways for progression.
Key Responsibilities
· Processing and maintaining the sales ledger accurately and in a timely manner
· Raising invoices and credit notes
· Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
· Supporting credit control activities when required
· Assisting with month-end reporting and audit preparation
· Responding to customer queries and providing excellent service
· General administrative and accounting support to the finance team
What We’re Looking For
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Self-motivated and able to work independently
· Good computer skills, including MS Office (Excel in particular)
· A willingness to learn and develop new skills
· Previous finance or sales ledger experience is desirable but not essential
