Who you’ll join:
Our client, a well-established international organisation within the hospitality, digital solutions and technology sector, is seeking a Management Account to support the financial operations of their Northern Europe entities.
This is an exciting opportunity, working closely with the Group CFO and operational teams, offering broad exposure across accounting, treasury, VAT compliance, payroll coordination and financial reporting within an international environment.
What you’ll do:
- Accounting & Month-End Close: Including reviewing accounting records and ensuring data accuracy.
- Revenue & Billing Controls: Including reconciliation of projects, sales orders and invoices.
- Treasury & Cash Forecasting: Preparing cash reporting for the Group CFO.
- Credit Control & Collections: Coordinating collection activities with operational teams.
- VAT & Compliance: Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with UK VAT requirements.
- Management of External Accounting Providers: Ensuring timely delivery of accounting information to providers.
- Intercompany Accounting: Assisting with reconciling intercompany balances and supporting intercompany invoicing processes.
- Systems & Process Improvement: Using Odoo and preparing analyses and reports using Excel.
- Payroll Coordination: Coordination of payroll information with local providers and reviewing payroll reports and variable pay elements.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
- At least 3 years’ accounting experience
- Part ACCA or CIMA qualified (or working towards) would be advantageous
- Experience preparing management accounts
- Good understanding of UK VAT
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset
- Comfortable managing multiple and conflicting priorities
What you’ll get:
- Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
- 22 days annual leave each year (increasing each year to a maximum of 25 days)
