Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our a local friendly Yacht Club. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our patrons. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, preparing and cooking simple meals and snacks. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene ensuring that all members have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with members in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to provide seamless service during busy periods.
- Assisting with general day to day Club operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential; training will be provided.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Be able to work independently and part of a team.
- Have basic cooking skills and be comfortable preparing simple meals
- Be flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
Due to the nature of this roll, including lone working and late night shifts, applicants should be aged 21 or over.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.25 per hour
