JOINER – SELF-EMPLOYED / POTENTIAL PERMANENT ROLE
Day Rate: £150–£230 per day, depending on experience

JMKB Group is a growing construction business based in Nottingham, delivering residential and commercial projects across the region.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Joiner who takes pride in their work and consistently delivers a high standard of workmanship.
This role will initially be offered on a self-employed subcontractor basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent employed position for the right person.
The Role
You will work across a variety of residential and commercial projects, carrying out a range of 1st and 2nd fix joinery, including:
- Doors, frames, windows and staircases
- Stud walls, joists and floor decking
- Roof timbers and hand-cut roofs
- Skirting and architraves
- Kitchens and finishing work
- General and bespoke joinery
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification joinery experience
- Strong all-round joinery skills and high standards of workmanship
- Valid CSCS card or willingness to obtain one
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Own tools, including 110V tools for site use
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Reliable, professional and able to work to deadlines
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Right to work in the UK
A joinery apprenticeship and experience in other areas of construction would be advantageous.

Self-Employed Requirements
Applicants must be registered as self-employed and, before commencing work, will be required to provide valid Public Liability Insurance with a minimum £5 million cover.
