Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the company's marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support business growth. The role will oversee digital marketing activities, social media channels, content creation, campaigns, and external marketing relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create annual and quarterly marketing plans with measurable KPIs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities.
- Manage and maintain the company's brand identity across all marketing channels.
Digital Marketing
- Plan, create, and manage digital marketing campaigns.
- Oversee website content, performance, and SEO initiatives.
- Develop lead generation campaigns to support sales targets.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using relevant analytics tools.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow the company's presence across:
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- Instagram (where applicable)
- X (formerly Twitter) (where applicable)
- Create engaging content including posts, graphics, videos, articles, and case studies.
- Schedule and publish content in line with the marketing calendar.
- Monitor engagement, respond to enquiries, and manage online reputation.
- Build targeted campaigns through Facebook and LinkedIn advertising platforms.
- Track social media performance and provide monthly reporting.
Content Creation
- Produce marketing materials including:
- Social media content
- Blogs and articles
- Email campaigns
- Brochures and sales collateral
- Case studies and customer testimonials
- Ensure all content reflects company branding and messaging.
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Work closely with the sales team to generate and nurture qualified leads.
- Develop campaigns to increase enquiries and conversions.
- Support business development activities through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Assist with presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.
Advertising & Campaign Management
- Manage paid advertising budgets across Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, and other relevant platforms.
- Optimise campaigns to maximise ROI.
- Monitor advertising spend and performance metrics.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare monthly marketing reports detailing:
- Lead generation performance
- Website traffic
- Social media growth
- Campaign ROI
- Marketing spend
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Supplier & Agency Management
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, designers, and media providers.
- Obtain quotations and manage marketing budgets effectively.
Person SpecificationEssential Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing role.
- Proven experience managing Facebook and LinkedIn business accounts.
- Experience creating and managing paid social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation.
- Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
