Café Crew Member — The Walled Garden
We're after someone who makes people's day a bit better just by being behind the counter. If you're upbeat under pressure, quick on your feet, and default to "here's how we sort it" rather than "that's not my problem," we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Customer service first: greeting people, taking orders, keeping the vibe warm even when the queue's out the door. Prepping drinks, plating cakes, keeping the place spotless and clutter free, and generally making sure The Walled Garden Café runs like it should. Coffee training's included, so we just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
Who we're looking for
Someone with genuine warmth for customers, not a fixed smile. Calm under pressure, busy Saturdays don't rattle you. A problem solver who looks for the fix, not the excuse. Reliable, a good team player, and happy to pitch in wherever needed.
Some hospitality experience is required for this role - be it pub, café or restaurant.
What matters more: can you stay positive, think on your feet, and give people a reason to come back?
Pay: £12.85-£13.85 per hour
