Our Emerging Talent Team plays a key role in developing the next generation of talent across the firm. From trainee solicitors to apprentices, we are committed to providing a high-quality experience that supports learning, development and long-term success.
We're looking for an Resourcing Specialist to join our team. Working closely with a Resourcing Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting, coordinating and continuously improving our emerging talent programmes, ensuring they remain structured, engaging and aligned to the high standards we're known for.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in early careers, trainee development or apprenticeship programmes who enjoys building relationships, improving processes and helping people achieve their potential.
What you'll do
You'll support a range of activities across our trainee and apprenticeship programmes, including:
- Coordinating trainee and apprentice seat moves and helping ensure a smooth experience throughout the process.
- Supporting internal and client secondments, managing key administration and maintaining accurate programme information.
- Acting as a day-to-day contact for trainees and apprentices, providing guidance and ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey.
- Gathering feedback, analysing trends and identifying opportunities to enhance the trainee and apprentice experience.
- Supporting qualification activities, ensuring communications, timelines and guidance are clear and well-managed.
- Supporting induction and onboarding activities, helping future joiners settle in and succeed from day one.
- Working closely with trainees, apprentices, supervisors, training providers and internal stakeholders to build strong, collaborative relationships.
- Supporting emerging talent recruitment activity, including interviews, assessment centres and attraction events.
What we're looking for
- Experience supporting trainee, apprenticeship or early careers programmes, ideally within a professional services environment.
- A strong understanding of qualification pathways and the factors that contribute to a positive early careers experience.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with individuals at all levels.
- The ability to gather insight, interpret feedback and translate it into meaningful improvements.
- A professional and sensitive approach when handling confidential matters.
