About Starkers
Established in 2012, Starkers is a successful lingerie company based in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire. As we continue our exciting growth plans over the next three years, we're looking for an experienced Part-Time Finance Administrator to join our team.
Our business has three key areas:
- Private Label Manufacturing – designing and manufacturing lingerie for retailers.
- Tutti Rouge – our own successful e-commerce lingerie brand, available at www.tuttirouge.com.
- A small third business that also requires finance support.
We're looking for a reliable and experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a varied role within a growing business.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the business, working closely with the Directors AND Brand Manager to ensure accurate financial records and smooth financial operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day accounts using Xero
- Processing monthly payroll through Xero
- Reconciling Shopify sales, PayPal transactions and other payment platforms
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns, including cash accounting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and completing bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end financial processes
- Assisting with financial reporting and providing support to the Directors where required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least three years' experience in a similar finance or bookkeeping role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Experience processing payroll
- Experience reconciling e-commerce transactions, including Shopify and PayPal
- Be proficient with VAT returns and cash accounting
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team
Experience within an e-commerce, retail or manufacturing business would be advantageous but is not essential.

What We Offer
- 16 hours per week with flexibility over 2 or 3 days

- Competitive pay of up to £21.00 per hour, depending on experience
