Rutledge Recruitment is currently seeking General Operatives to join a busy meat production facility based in Cullybackey, Ballymena.
Role Overview
Successful applicants may be considered for a number of different roles/departments depending on operational requirements. Duties and work areas may vary based on client's needs.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am–2:30pm
- Finishing times may vary depending on workload, operational requirements etc
- Enhanced overtime rates available once over 40 hours
Pay Rate
- Starting from £12.71 per hour
- Ranging up to £13.30 per hour depending on department, experience and role requirements
Duties Include
- Operating the scale system to weigh raw meat products (full training provided)
- Packing raw meat products in a chilled/wet production environment
- Cleaning food hygiene areas using chemicals and machinery
- Using knives to cut and trim meat products
- Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
- Following all Health & Safety, food hygiene and PPE procedures
- Working as part of a team to achieve production targets
- Loading and unloading products
Requirements
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar role is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Full training will be provided
- Good understanding of workplace hygiene and safety standards
