Job Title: Paraplanner up to £40,000 + Uncapped Quarterly Bonus – Wakefield (Office Based)
We're recruiting on behalf of a thriving, values-driven financial planning firm in Wakefield, currently experiencing strong growth and known for looking after both clients and staff. Salary & Benefits
- up to £40,000 basic salary
- Uncapped quarterly bonus – realistic and achievable; the current Paraplanning team consistently hit target
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, rising to 28 after 2 years
- Office closed between Christmas and New Year (not deducted from annual leave)
- 35-hour week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (1-hour lunch)

The Role
You'll provide technical Paraplanning support to Financial Advisers, preparing suitability reports and research across pensions, investments, and protection. You'll work on:
- Compliant, detailed suitability reports
- Pension, investment and protection research
- Complex cases including tax planning and cashflow modelling
- Technical illustrations and provider comparisons
- Regulatory compliance on all recommendations
- New business and client review processing
- Accurate client record-keeping
- Staying current with legislation and market developments
About You
- Previous Paraplanning experience essential (St. James's Place / SJP experience highly desirable)
- Level 4 Diploma qualified, or working towards it
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning
- Experience with Voyant, Analytics, or similar cashflow/research tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, team-focused, with strong communication skills
