As a Freelance Graphic Designer, you will be primarily responsible for shaping the visual identity of athletes' brands in Formula 1 and beyond. Concepting and designing across a broad range of projects from brand identity, campaign art direction, social assets and print-led graphics.
As a freelancer working within a small, fast-paced team, you'll need to hit the ground running. You'll take ownership of your own projects while collaborating across creative disciplines, with the opportunity to contribute to wider campaigns, content and brand-building work.
We are wearegrip, a London based creative studio who work with some of the most exciting drivers in F1. Our goal is to build the most distinctive personal brands in sport that capture the attention of fans, teams and brands around the world.
Working hand-in-hand with each driver we create and manage their personal brand across social media, branding, marketing, merchandise, content creation, digital and more.

Create overarching art direction and campaign assets that bring our clients' brands and clothing collections to life across social and advertising.

Translate ideas into polished visuals across digital, print and experiential.

Create treatments, mood boards and visual references that give concepts shape and direction.

Work closely with the wider creative team to interpret briefs and develop ideas from concept through to delivery.

Build visually compelling decks and presentations to support pitching new ideas.

Ensure brand consistency across all channels.

Research current and emerging trends in design.

Manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects, delivering on time and to an exceptional standard.

4+ years of experience in a similar graphic design role.

Confident working across a variety of design styles and disciplines.

An excellent eye for detail and colour.

Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Able to work independently and integrate quickly into an existing team workflow.

Interested in motorsport and specifically Formula 1.

Experience working with high-level athletes or sports organisations

Interested in fashion and streetwear style.

Freelance contract, 3–5 days per week.

Competitive day rate based on experience.

3 days required in our Hoxton studio Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
