EXPERIENCED CNC + SLIDING HEAD PROGRAMMER SETTER OPERATOR
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EXPERIENCED PROGRAMMER SETTER OPERATOR to join one of the UKs award winning leading manufacturers of High-Quality Special Fasteners.
We are looking for someone with proven previous experience setting, operating, and programming sliding head machines and CNC machines two people required.
The ideal candidates must
- Be able to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, caliper gauges, verniers etc.
- Experience programming, setting and CNC head machines.
- Machine a wide range of components to tight tolerances ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards.
- Select machine tools to produce components to drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to demonstrate a good level of understanding technical engineering drawings for turned or threaded parts.
- Adjusting existing programmes.
- Programming of new jobs on the machine
- Maintaining a level of self-inspection throughout a batch.
- Working within a team on the section and can use own initiative.
- It is essential that the right candidate is happy to work on different machines depending on where they are required.

Hours are Monday - Thursday 7 - 4
Friday 7 - 3.45
