Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook, for the Saturday and Sunday from 7:30- 13:30, and for Anual Leave/Sickness. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in providing a food service, for our elderly Residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for the food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering excellent service to our customers. This position offers valuable experience in the hospitality industry .
Responsibilities
- Food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Plating dishes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment for all staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment .
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including week days if necessary(Weekend Job)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to do course
- Knowledge of IDDSI levels

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
