Job Overview:
We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated and energetic person to join our team of memorial masons working from our workshop in Harlow, CM17.
No previous experience is required but the successful candidate must demonstrate experience of manual work and working as part of a team; needs to be able to undertake physical work, willing to learn and enjoy working outside.
Working hours are flexible, to be discussed.
Driving license is essential, with confidence behind the wheel due to travelling between cemeteries and church yards for most of the working day.
Due to the nature of the role as a Fixer you must be comfortable with the prospect of working outdoors as required.
Learning all aspects of monumental masonry, preparing a memorial, lettering a memorial and mainly fixing memorials.
You will be required to fix/install all types of memorials within cemeteries and churchyards.
You must be:
- Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with regular and repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting (KEY TO ROLE).
- Learning the basics of cleaning and preparing memorials for lettering process

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
