Vehicle Technician/Experienced Mechanic - minumim of 1 year motor mechanic experience is needed

Salary: £15 to £18 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. No weekend work
Baildon Green Autos is an independent garage serving customers throughout Baildon, Shipley and the surrounding areas.
We’re looking for an experienced mechanic/vehicle technician to join our friendly and established workshop.
We work on a wide variety of cars and vans, so no two days are quite the same. We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and is able to diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard.
The role
You’ll be carrying out a variety of mechanical and diagnostic work, including servicing, repairs, brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, fault finding and general maintenance on vehicles.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has good experience as a vehicle mechanic/technician
- Can diagnose and repair vehicles confidently
- Takes pride in producing a high standard of work
- Is reliable, hardworking and organised
- Is comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
- Has a full UK driving licence
- Has a positive attitude and good attention to detail
