Duties
- Carefully pack products according to specified guidelines, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Handle materials with care, utilizing appropriate techniques for heavy or bulky items
- Operate forklifts safely to load and unload shipments, adhering to safety protocols
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against documentation
- Conduct quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items before packing
- Stock shelves and organize storage areas for efficient picking and packing workflows
Skills
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely
- Mechanical knowledge for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Experience with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure accurate dispatches
- Prior warehouse experience, especially in picking & packing operations
- Ability to perform load & unload tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Attention to detail for quality control and stock organization
