About the role:
We are actively recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to join a SEMH School in the Great Yarmouth area on a full-time basis starting in September 2026. This rewarding role focuses on supporting students who require additional behavioural guidance, helping them engage positively with learning and achieve success both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with behavioural and pastoral needs
- Promote positive attitudes towards learning
- Build strong relationships and act as a positive role model
- Deliver interventions to improve engagement and attendance
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience working with young people
- Must have a clear enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
- Resilient and committed to supporting student development
- Provide two education/school based references from the last two years
