About the Role
We are seeking a Skilled Technician - Plumber to join our Fire & Flood team, based in Swindon and surrounding areas. This role involves the delivery of plumbing works ranging from minor reactive repairs through to full installations and reinstatement works within domestic and commercial restoration projects. You will work on diverse projects, providing high-quality plumbing expertise and ensuring all work meets UK water regulations and our stringent standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumber to deliver quality work on varied restoration projects within a supportive and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of installation and repair of hot and cold water systems
- Installation and replacement of sanitary ware including toilets, basins, baths, and showers
- Pipework installation including copper, plastic, and push-fit systems
- Leak detection and repair
- Basic drainage works and waste pipe installation
- Isolation, removal, and reinstatement of plumbing systems during restoration works
- Coordination with other trades during reinstatement projects
- Testing and commissioning of installed systems
- Execution of minor plumbing repairs and maintenance work
- Partial system replacements and full bathroom or kitchen plumbing installations
- Reinstatement works following water or fire damage
- Working within occupied properties in a professional and courteous manner
- Working to agreed programmes and deadlines
- Compliance with health and safety requirements on site
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Understanding of UK water regulations and plumbing standards
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of safe isolation and system testing
- Awareness of water damage implications in restoration environments

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:
