Systems Safety Engineer required to work for Principal Contractor on High Speed Rail Major Works Programme.

Based at London Euston - Hybrid Woking Arrangements, 3 Days in the Office and 2 Days WFH.
Systems Safety Engineer - Experience of applying processes in System Safety & Interoperability for Compliant delivery railway.
Previous Major Rail Projects Experience required.
Experience of the application of System Safety and Interoperability assurance processes in major railway projects.
Awareness of the various disciplines involved in delivering major railway projects, their roles and responsibilities and their relationship to assurance impacting on System Safety and Interoperability deliverables and approvals
Role Brief:
The System Engineering Technical Assurance Team is responsible for demonstrating that the works carried out meet the employers requirements as set out in the Works Information and Contract Requirements Technical. This includes ensuring that all work packages understand the relevant requirements, and provide the appropriate Validation and Verification that the requirements have been met.
- Support the System Safety and Interoperability Manager to maintain and implement the System Safety and Interoperability (NTSNs) Management Plans/Procedures/Processes.
- Liaise with design and construction leads and subcontractors to ensure appropriate System Safety and Interoperability activities are planned and undertaken across multiple assets on the project.
- Provide advice on system safety practices and procedures to construction project teams.
